Because of the protection of land resources and the safeguarding of 350km/h running speed for the train, 80% of Jinghu high speed railway line will be constructed as bridgework. Most of the rail track will be small and medium- sized bridge besides the existing bridges spanning rivers, railways and roads. The construction materials are 32m, 24m and 20m prefab double-line box girders, each with a weight of 900t. To accomplish the span of these box girders, span equipments like erecting crane for railway bridge span are needed and also necessary, and this article introduces the prospect of these equipments.
