Two Ways of Extracting Geography Feature Tables by C# and GeoMedia

以C#、GeoMedia Pro为开发平台,通过数据管道技术、元数据方法实现了从数据库中提取地理特征表的两种方法,结果表明:两种实现方法切实可行,元数据方法简单、实用,代码较少,但只能提取数据库的基本属性,扩充性能较差;GDO访问实现方法,与元数据方法相比,代码较复杂,但通过数据管道技术,能访问数据库更多的属性,扩充性能较好。

Development platform which C# and GeoMedia has been mentioned in the article,these two ways of extracting geographic feature class is achieved by technologies of data pipe and metadata method.Results show those two methods are executive,which can correctly extract geographic feature class with its name,however these two approaches are different in achieving process,and they both got advantages and disadvantages.The approach of metadata is practical and easy programming,but it's only extract the main attribute of database,and which has limitations in expanding.Compare with metadata technology,the approach of GDO which is relatively complex in coding.However it has better characteristics of expanding than metadata method,which can be used to query and obtain more detailed properties via data pipe
