How to construct the multicast trees is the critical point of WDM Multicast. In this paper,, the importance of construction of multicast service by optical network is firstly analyzed. Then the two structures of WMD are depicted. Thirdly, both applying the DVMRP protocol to constructing ofmulticast service in WDM network with sparse splitting and realizing multicast are brought forward and described.
