Survey of the Needs for Health Education among Patients Undergoing Hip Replacement and the Intervention Strategies

目的调查髋关节置换患者对健康教育的需求情况.以便采用更合理有效的干预措施满足患者需求。方法采用描述性研究方法,随机抽样72例髋关节置换患者进行问卷调查,了解患者对健康教育的需求。结果患者对功能锻炼指导及出院前的健康教育需求程度最高;床旁个体指导与演示是患者最易接受的教育方式。结论要针对患者对健康教育知识需求的特点有针对性地开展健康教育.做到以人为本.促进患者早日康复。

Objective To investigate the needs for health education in patients undergoing hip replacement and provide effective intervention measures to satisfy the needs of the patients. Methods This descriptive study included 72 randomly sampled patients undergoing hip replacement to investigate their needs for health education. Results The patients reported the highest needs for instructions of functional training and health education prior to discharge, and individual bedside instruction and demonstration were the most acceptable pattern of education. Conclusion Health education of the patients following hip replacement should be carried out according to the specific needs of the patients, and person-centered education may help promote the smooth recovery of the patients.
