A Comparative Study on Chinese Natural Sign Language and Ancient Chinese

文章通过对中国自然手语和中国古代汉语的比较分析,发现两者在语序方面有许多相似之处,如主谓倒装、宾语前置、修饰语后置,以及缺乏量词等。这些现象和原始思维有着密切联系。

Through comparative analysis of Chinese natural sign language and ancient Chinese, this paper discovers there are many similarities between the two in constituent order, such as subject- predicate inversion, converted objects, back allocation of modifiers and lack of quantifiers. All of these have a close relationship with primitive thinking.
