The disciplinary development requires multidisciplinary integration and infiltration. With the example of the urban design international consultancy project of Shalihe Waterfront Area, Luohe City, and from the perspective of landscape design, new ideas of urban design are explored. The article is divided into two pads： the first part is the introduction of the planning idea, concepts, city structure and green space structure in the planning and design process of the project, and the second pad is the authors＇ experience and the opportunities and challenges of the project for the development of landscape design discipline.
