摘要
为这栋位于东汉普顿的上世纪90年代的海滨住宅设计一处具有典型的巴厘岛风情的泳池和凉亭，这需要设计师在这两处设施之间创造一种和谐的比照。位于泳池一侧的凉亭营造出一个私密的空间，泳池的边缘逐渐消失，突出了海平面，令人浮想联翩，不禁想沿着蜿蜒的木板路漫步其中。
Project Statement
Designing a Balinese inspired pool terrace and pavilion as an extension of an existing 1990＇s beach house in East Hampton required creating a harmonious juxtaposition of two worlds. The pavilion flanks the pool terrace to create a private, intimate space, while the vanishing edge pool reiterates the plane of the sea and draws attention to the vista beyond, encouraging a walk along the meandering boardwalk through the delicate landscape of the Amagansett Double Dunes.
