再考溱洧水

Again Textually Researching the Zhen River and the Wei River

郑国东迁于溱洧二水之间,即今新郑市区一带,在古文献中多有记载。但是,有些文献却另有说法,引发争议至今未已。因此,以古文献为基础,结合现代考古发掘成果对溱洧水与郑国之地望进行新的考证,将有利于弄清真象,正本清源。

Zheng state moved eastward to the place which is between the Zhen river and the Wei river,i, e. now the urban district of Xinzheng city, which are recorded in ancient literatures. However, in some literatures there have other statements, which arise lots of disputes. So, it will be in favor of clarifying the facts to again research the place between the Zhen river and the Wei river and research the position and reputation of Zheng state by taking the ancient literatures as the foundation and combining with the modern archaeological achievements.
