Boston Tea Party was just an episode in the confrontation between the British North American and the mother nation before The Independence War. Though having provided a new chance for resistance, it was not a determinant factor in the American History. It was the continental - wide movement of resisting and propagandizing that made the thoughts of preserving colonial right and liberty prevalent, and people more and more realized the urgency of united resist. Public opinion and mass support of united resistance as a source of legitimacy laid a firm foundation for the continental congress.
