Retrofitting Hobbing Machine with CNC System in Agricultural Machinery Factory

Retrofitting only the electric part of the machine tools has been broadly used in the mechanical field, this method has not only cost less money but also efficiently increase the stability of the machine tools. This article gives a brief introduction on retrofitting of a hobbing machine with Siemens CNC system at the aspects of electrical designing, parameter configuring and production art setting. The retrofitted machine tools had satisfied the customer＇s need at the highest extent.
