妇女问题是社会发展的重大问题之一,妇女的解放程度是衡量社会进步的标志,妇女的地位和生活状况反映着所在地区的文化特色和开放程度。江门五邑是我国著名侨乡,在西方文化影响下,五邑妇女的观念意识、行为方式、情感表达等都发生了悄然变化,这主要表现于婚姻与家庭、社会权利与社会角色等方面。

The issue of women is one of the major issues of social progress. Women＇s status and living conditions of social development and the degree of women＇s liberation is a mark reflect the cultural characteristics and degree of openness of an area. Jiangmen Wuyi is a famous homeland of overseas Chinese and the region＇s women underwent silent changes in terms of concepts, consciousness, ways of behaving and expressing emotions under the influence of western culture. The changes are mainly reflected on marriage and family, social rights, and roles.
