论本世纪前期我国终身教育体系的建设

On the Construction of a Life-time Education System in China in the Beginning Decades of 21st Century

党的十七大的胜利召开,为全面建设小康社会做出了科学而具体的战略部署,也为我国教育的发展、教育体系的建设进一步指明了方向。本世纪前期,我国必须从转变发展观念、健全教育法制、完善管理体制、搭建科学体系、创新管理运作、追求教育公平、强调政府责任等方面着手,全方位加强终身教育体系的建设。

The 17th Party Congress formulated a scientific and concrete strategic plan for building a moderately well-off society in all aspects and pointed out the way for the development of education and for perfecting the educational system. In the beginning decades of the 21 st century, we should develop our life-time educational system by transforming our concepts on development, improving the law on education, perfecting the management mechanism, building a scientific system, innovating the management operation, pursuing educational fairness and, highlighting the responsibility of the government.
