Based on an analysis of the water source situation of Cenxi city, the water consumption of this city in the future was predicted. The current water source of Cenxi city will not satisfy the future water demands in respects of water volume and quality. Multiple water source planning proposals were put forward to settle the water supply problem of Cenxi city in the design level year, incorporating making full use of the local water supply potential and transmitting water from the adjacent river.
