This paper introduces some advancement internationally for the evaluation of academic institution, which mainly focuses on the distribution of research funds according to research performance in the developed Europe and some other nations. As for valuable literatures, M Henkel, A Geuna and B R Martin examined the double edged his own consequence of research funding according to performance assessment, and F Senses in Turkey provides consideration.
