住院精神病39例死亡原因分析及对策

The analysis and measures of the cause for the death of 39 psychiatric patients

目的：对住院精神病人的死亡原因进行分析，并提出相应对策。方法：对我院1982年～2006年7月住院死亡病例资料进行分析。结果：39例中自杀死亡18例，窒息死亡3例，猝死3例，因严重躯体疾病死亡14例，药物过量中毒死亡1例，总病死率为0．53‰。死亡原因主要与医院管理水平、医疗护理质量、告知及家属监护不力有关。结论：为了降低住院死亡率，医院应加强医疗质量控制，提高整体管理水平，履行告知义务，减少或杜绝医疗差错与事故的发生。

Objective： To analyze the cause for the death of the psychiatric patients, and to put forward corresponding measures. Methods： To analyze the clinical data of the patients died in our hospital from 1982- July 2006. Results： In the 39 cases, 18 suicidal deaths,3 suffocation deaths, three sudden deaths, 14 cases of deaths due to serious physical illness and one case due to drug overdose. The total mortality rate is 0.53‰. The main cause of the death are hospital management, the quality of health care, family members＇ custody. Conclusion： To reduce the mortality, the hospital should improve the quality of the medical treat and the health care and enhance the overall level of the management, fulfil the obligation to inform the family members and reduce or eliminate medical errors to avoid accidents.
