关于“学报特色论”的全方位审视

All-round Survey of "Journal Specialty Theory"

在我国编辑学界关于大学学报的研究中,有一个所谓的重要命题,就是"学报特色论",即"学报特色生命论",由此还生发了"高校学报危机论"。文章通过大量引证古今中外相关资料,证明"学报特色论"不能自圆其说,它没有真正把握住大学学报的本质、历史使命和编辑职责,陷入了误区。"学报特色论"是学术浮躁在大学学报编辑界的表现。科学是真理,真理是放之四海而皆准的,无特色可言,登载科学论文的学报不一定需要有特色。大学学报的历史使命就是对大学创造的学术思想进行科学传播;大学学报不强调"特色",并不意味着就安于现状,而是更应当励精图治,积极进取。

＂Journal Specialty Theory＂ is a so- called important proposition in the journal study in China＇ s editing circle. Thereout appears a theory of ＂journal crisis＂. By citing large amount of ancient and modern, home and abroad material, the paper proves that the ＂Journal Specialty Theory＂ can not justify itself. This theory makes an error for it does not grasp the essence, historical mission of journal and the editors＇ respon- sibility. ＂Journal Specialty Theory＂ is a result of academic fickleness. Science is truth which is valid everywhere and there are no special features. Journal publishing scientific articles does not need features. The historical mission of journal is to scientifically spread the academic thoughts created in colleges and universities. Journal should not emphasize feature. This does not mean being satisfied with the condition. However it calls on great efforts and enterprising spirit to active and continuous improvement.
