摘要
翻译的本质是语言符号的转换,诗歌作为文学作品中最为纯粹的艺术,是通过韵律语言来表达思想内容的,其翻译本事就是一种美的创造,是语言符号的艺术性再现。我国著名翻译理论家许渊冲先生经过长期的诗歌翻译实践,提出了诗歌翻译的最高境界和标准——"三美论"(意美、音美和形美)。旨在以其英译的"黛玉葬花辞"为对象,分析研究其诗歌翻译中"意美、音美和形美"的具体体现,为译者从事诗歌翻译提供一些启示。
Translation natm-ally is transcoding language symbol. Poetry is a kind of literal style possessing the strong artistic character. Correspondingly, poetry translation is the art of esthetics creation and the artistic reproduction of language symbol. Through analyzing the English version of "Lin Daiyu's Elegy on Flowers" translated by Xu Yuanchong, this paper exploros how to reproduce faithfully the beauty of Chinese classical poetry, in form, sound and meaning in the translated version.
