Research and realization of calculation of web services description similarity based on the Vector Space Model

服务描述是服务发现的基础.现有的服务发现多从关键词入手进行匹配,本文给出了一种通过服务描述进行相似度计算的方法,采用了The Porter Stemming Algorithm对服务描述进行预处理,引进向量空间模型的方法对描述进行度量.对比实验证明,该方法能充分利用服务描述的特点来计算服务之间的匹配度,是有效的和可行的.

Web services description is the base of Web services discovery. Current technologies of web services discovery are always based on key words matching. The paper gives an analytical calculation of services description similarity, pre-disposes services description by The Porter Stemming Algorithm, and measures services description with the Vector Space Model. Finally, the method is proved to be feasible and effective for it can make the best of the characteristics of services description by some comparative experiments.
