With the acceleration of urbanizational process, the lack of urban land resources has become increasingly prominent. It is time to solve reasonable allocation and intensive utilization of urban land resources. The author summarizes connotation of intensive utilization of land, considers intensive utilization of city land is an important measure of the land resources＇ effective allocation and sustainable development, and analyses the existing condition and problem of land utilization, and discusses some countermeasures of intensive utilization, it will play an important role in land resource＇ s effective allocation, sustainable utilization and improved economic value in Xiangfan.
