陈凯歌斥巨资精心打造的重量级巨片《无极》,存在着明显的问题。主题思想含糊不清,观众不知道"无极"到底指什么;表现手法故弄玄虚,得不偿失;特技太假;美术给人刻意而为的感觉,整体美术风格和场景设计过于绚烂;过多地使用港台和外籍演员,弄巧成拙;急于夺国际大奖,但不仅外国人不理会,还招来中国人的众多指责和埋怨。《无极》是弄巧成拙的失败尝试。

There are some obvious problems in the highly-cost giant film The Promise by CHEN Kai-ge.Fistly, the main idea is not distinct. The audience don＇t know what The Promise means.Secondly,the representation is exaggerated and unreal,which makes the film is not worth what it costs.The trick drawing is too false and the art in it leaves the audience an impression that it is made purposefully.The general style of art and tableau are much too gorgeous.Thirdly, he chose too many performers from Hongkong ,Taiwan and foreign countries,which makes Mr Chen outsmarl himself.Fourthly,he is too eager to win the international award.But it is not only ignored by the foreigners but also scolded and complained by Chinese audience.
