摘要
IMS是3GPP在Release5版本中提出的支持IP多媒体业务的子系统,SIP是一种应用层控制协议,用于生成、修改和终止一人或者多人的多媒体会话,SIP是IMS的基本控制协议。本文首先简要介绍了IMS和SIP协议,然后介绍SIP协议在IMS中的基本应用和扩展应用。
IMS is IP Multimedia Subsystem, it is described in 3GPP Release 5. The SIP is an application-layer control protocol for creating, modifying and terminating sessions with one or more participants. SIP is the fundamental control protocol of IMS. In this paper, IMS and SIP protocol are briefly introduced firstly. Then this article analyses the applications and expanded applications of SIP in IMS.
