This article discusses the interaction between economy and culture in ethnic minority areas in China from the perspective of building a harmonious society. It primarily illustrates the interacting functions and the targets of ethnic economy and culture, and then focuses on analyzing the beneficial interaction mechanism and dialectical relationship between categorical identification of ethnic economy and culture. It states out the main measures to promote the beneficial interaction between ethnic economy and culture.
