The Release of Different Splendor——A Comparative Study of ZHANG Ailing and ZHAO Shuli's experience of popularity in 1943

赵树理和张爱玲在1943年几乎同时登上文坛,显示了"通俗文学"强大的生命力。从两人的写作策略、作品问世的过程和面对各界不同的反应所持的态度三个方面看,两人的成名过程有不少的相似之处。他们的出现使"通俗文学"与五四新文学在二十世纪四十年代得到了某种程度的融合。

ZHAO Shuli and ZHANG Ailing ascended literary circle almost at the same time in 1943,showing the strong vitality of'popular literature'.This paper makes a study of their experiences of popularity through comparing their writing strategies,publications and attitudes towards reactions from different circles.To some extent,they integrate the 'popular literature' into the New Literature of the 1940s.
