The Linguistic Perspective and Methodology

本文从语言哲学的高度阐述语言的本质属性,指出语言在指称和认知客体事物、实现交际和组织社会、传达思想和抒发情感、作为文化载体使世界有序化和符号化等方面的多种功能,从语言不同的功能去考察语言、定义语言并建立不同的语言研究理论,将有利于语言研究领域的拓展和研究方法的革新。在这一理论基础上进一步分析汉语的混沌型和韵律性特点,以期建立与汉语特点相适应的具体分析。

Highly from the angle of linguistic philosophy, this paper elaborates the language essential attribute,and points out the functions of language, namely, indicating and perceiving objective things, communicating and organizing the society, conveying ideas, expressing emotion and making the world orderingly and signifyingly as a cultural carrier. According to the functions of it,we should observe and define language,which will be advantageous to the expansion of language research area and the innovation of reseach method. Based on the theory,the paper makes a further analysis on the chaos and prosodic feature of Chinese, then make a concrete analysis adapting to Chinese characteristic.
