Impact of "Filial Piety "on the Huizhou Businessmen

明清时期封建孝道对徽商影响深远,一方面是促使徽商外出经商的原因之一,扩大了徽商的知名度,另一方面封建孝道对徽商致富后扩大商业规模,起到了限制与阻碍的作用,考察封建孝道对徽商的影响,有利于我们更加全面的认识徽商。

Filial piety affects the Huizhou businessmen deeply in the Ming and Qing Dynasty. It is the main reason which encourag them to go out and engage in business. Also, it helps them to be known far and wide in the world. Later in the Ming and Qing Dynasty, it becomes one of the hindering reasons for development of Huizhou Businessmen. It is helpful for us to recognize the Huizhou businessmen overall to study the impact of filiar piety on them.
