In order to catch up with advanced shipbuilding countries,China can learn from Korea and Japan in terms of their shipbuilding development strategies and in connection with its own conditions it should adopt policies such as government support, technological innovation and change of shipbuilding mode to raise its competitiveness of shipbuilding.
