查重是图书分编工作的首要环节,直接影响着分编工作的质量.利用计算机强大的检索功能进行查重过程中,要注意容易出现的问题.应用深圳大学图书馆开发研制的SULCMIS Ⅲ集成系统进行查重,操作方法简便,大大节省查重的时间,但在分类查重时仍要讲究方法和技巧,否则会影响查重效率和查重质量.

Duplicate Checking is the foremost step in classification and catalogue, which affects directly the quality of the catalogue work in the library. When using the retrieval function of computers for duplicate checking, we should be aware of some problems which are easily caused. The SULCMISⅢ System we are using, which is produced by the library of Shenzhen University, enjoys the advantages of simple and quick manipulation and saving a lot of time. However, the approaches and techniques of duplicate checking are very important, otherwise, the quality and effectiveness of duplicate checking will be destroyed.
