摘要
提出了一种基于IP组播的通信机制,根据网络广播通信的特点,利用组播减少屏幕共享所需带宽,针对组播的不可靠传输和屏幕数据的特点,给出一套有限质量保证协议.一方面将传输区域细分成小矩形后对各自数据独立压缩和传输以尽量减少丢包的影响;另一方面通过融合丢失、更新区域,并作为新传输数据来调整数据的生存期,避免冗余重传.实验表明这种传输机制能明显地节省网络带宽,提供较好的显示效果.
A novel IP multicast-based transmission and control mechanism was presented to reduce the bandwidth consumption. Aiming at the IP multicast transmission unreliability and the partial screen update, a protocol that can provide limited quality assurance was proposed. The correlation among IP packets was reduced by dividing update region into small rectangles and compressing and transmitting each in one packet independently to lessen the influence of packet loss. The different life time of the data from different regions was automatically adjusted by combining lost regions with the update to re duce redundant retransmissions. Experiments show that this mechanism can save bandwidth obviously, while providing clients with clear display.
