从单刻到全集:被粉饰的才子文本——《双柳轩诗文集》、《袁枚全集》校读札记

From Primary Collection to Complete Works:A Prettified Text of Talent:Collating Notes to Collection of Poems and Essays of Double Willow Pavilion and The Complete Works of Yuan Mei

该文以清代著名作家袁枚早年别集《双柳轩诗文集》和源自袁枚晚年所编《小仓山房全集》的今人整理本《袁枚全集》的校读为例,指出传统全集所收作品由于时经作者晚年粉饰删改,而大多存在历时性面貌不无缺失之憾,故研究单个古代著名作家创作的历时性问题,应当重视比全集更切近当时实况的作家生前行世的单刻别集。

Collection of Poems and Essays of Double Willow Pavilion(Shuangliuxuan Shiwen Ji)is a primary collection compiled by the famous writer Yuan Mei of the Qing Dynasty in his early age,and The Complete Works of Yuan Mei(Yuanmei Quanji)is the modern edition of The Complete Works of Xiaocangshan House(Xiaocnagshan Fang Quanji)compiled when he was old.With the example of the collation on the two books,this paper indicates that there is always the incomplete historical appearance in most of the traditional complete works,due to the revision and recompilation when the writers are old.Therefore,when one studies the diachronic research referring to the works of a traditional writer,emphasis should be put on the primary collection which contains much truer historical information rather than the complete works.
