地方本科院校科学发展的核心问题是合理定位,关键问题是错位发展,根本保证是强化质量。文章认为,地方本科院校应定位于"专业应用型"普通高等教育,这种教育与侧重学科教育的普通大学教育同型异质;地方本科院校要选择适合自身发展的"专业应用型"教育发展模式,在所在的类型和层次上办出特色,形成可持续发展的特异优势。

The core issues of local universities＇ science development is reasonable position, and its major problem is dislocation development. This paper says local universities should be oriented on general higher education of ＂application-oriented profession＂ that is same type but heterogeneity with general higher education which focus on interdisciplinary education. Local universities should choose＂ application-oriented profession＂ development model, shape special Features in their type and level, and form sustainable development of the specific advantages.
