摘要 H.264/AVC(FRExt)是由ITU-T视频编码专家组VCEG和ISO-IEC运动图像专家MPEG共同制定的新一代国际视频编码标准。该标准采用最新的编码工具,扩展了8×8帧内亮度预测、8×8变换等多项内容,能够提供增强的编码性能。详细介绍了该扩展部分,首次在低码率传输情况下对其中的一些重要方面做了比较研究和仿真。仿真结果表明,新的扩展部分能够提供更经济的编码效果。 H.264/AVC (fidelity range extensions) is the latest international video coding standard, which is jointly developed by the video coding experts group oflTU-T and the moving picture experts group of ISO/IEC. The state-of-the-art video coding tools is used, and 8×8 intra spatial prediction, 8×8 transform, etc are extened. The coding efficiency is enhanced. The extensions are introduced intensively, and comparative research and simulations are firstly made on some important aspects, which exhibit that the new FRExt can achieve the most economical compression for the common video contents.
