毛泽东立足于中国国情对社会主义建设的探索,尽管存在某些失误,仍然取得了不少重要的成果。这些成果包括:坚持"以生产建设为中心"、走"中国工业化的道路"、确立勤俭建国的战略方针、提出"向外国学习"的对外开放思想原则以及关于我国管理体制改革的一些设想等等。这些关于中国发展的重要思想成果,都被邓小平理论和科学发展观所继承和发展。

Mao Zedong＇s exploration of China＇s socialist construction on the basis of China＇s national condition has got some important achievements as follows ： consisting on ＂taking construction as the central task＂, ＂take the road to Chinese industrialization＂, setting up the austerity strategy and the principle of ＂learning from foreign countries＂, and bringing forward some innovation concerning management system, etc. And these important achievements were inherited and developed by Deng Xiaoping Theory and Scientific Outlook on Development.
