摘要
CBI教学路径将语言教学基于某个学科教学或基于某种主题教学来进行,将语言作为学习学科知识的媒介,为语言教学提供了较好的学习平台。大学英语后阶段的专业英语阅读课教学特点使运用CBI教学路径成为可能。
Content-based instruction (CBI) approach is conducted on the basis of a certain subject teaching or a theme teaching. It uses language as the media to study the academic knowledge of a certain subject, which provides better platform for the language teaching. The characteristics of English reading in certain subject in the post-college English teaching make the possibility of applying CBI approach to the teaching. CBI approach enables the students to gain their professional knowledge, and it helps stir up the students' interest in English study, and improve the efficiency. It proves to be a kind of new teaching approach to combine the foreign language study with academic contents effectively.
