英语专业的教学目的是培养学生实际运用英语的能力。英语口语课的教学任务是培养学生口头表达和交际的能力。如何搞好英语口语教学,培养学生的英语交际能力是实现英语专业教学目的的关键。本文还从学生自主学习的角度提出了几种提高口语交际能力的途径。

The teaching objective of English major is to improve the students＇ skills of using English. How to promote spoken Eitglish teaehing and how to develop the students＇ communieative skills are the key faetors of aehieving the objectives. Besides, it puts forward several ways of improving students＇ communicative competenee with regard to autonomous learning.
