Discussion on the Principle and Methods of Bamboo Landscape Construction

在查阅中国古今丰富的竹子造景文献基础上,总结了竹子造景的变化统一、对比调和、尺度比例、均衡稳定、韵律节奏等美学原则,竹里通幽、移竹当窗、粉墙竹影、竹石小品等竹子造景经典手法,及规则式、自然式、集锦式等园林竹子配植方法。

Based on plentiful documents of bamboo landscape in ancient and modem times, the experience ot bamboo landscape construction is summarized, including aesthetics principle： unanimity of changes, comprornise on contrasts, proper ratio of scale, balance stabilization, rhythm and so on; traditional skill： “bamboo walk to quiet”, “bamboo in front of window”, “power wall and bamboo shadow”, “bamboo with stones” and so on, bamboo gardening methods： formal, nature-like, collective landscape and so on.
