摘要
20世纪20年代,大量的青年作家试图在小说中探索爱情与自由的新关系,这其中存在着不同趋向:一方面,大量作家抒写了为爱情而战的决心,无论是追寻恋爱的自由还是追寻自由的恋爱,总之都是把爱情与自由同构;另一方面,也有些作家开始探讨自由对爱情的破坏,或爱情对自由的束缚。文章阐述20世纪20年代小说中表现出的这几种趋向,并由此指出作家们的总体追求的意义所在。
A lot of young writers tried to find out the new relationship about love and freedom in their fictions in the 1920s. There were different trends in their exploration. On the one hand, many writers expressed their determination of fighting for love by writing the search for the freedom of love and the one for the free love. No matter which search they wrote, they all identified love with freedom. On the other hand, some writers began to probe into the destruction of love by freedom and the fetters of love. The author wants to point out the significance of the writers＇ pursuit by setting forth these trends particularly.
