摘要
The incidence of prostate cancer (PCa) in Western developed countries is higher than in Asia where it ispresently increasing rapidly) Data from Shanghai and Macau^2 suggest that the incidence of PCa in the Chinese population has also shown an increasing trend over the last twenty years. The number of articles and clinical reports about PCa has increased dramatically. The rising incidence of PCa in China might result from aging of population and improvement and popularization of diagnostic technique, especially the extensive use of serum prostate specific antigen (PSA) test and systematic prostate biopsy to discover and diagnose PCa in an early stage.^3 Other factors associated with PCa, such as the changes of environment and diet need to be assessed.
