地方高校图书馆如何突出地方特色,创办品牌,在高校教书育人过程中发挥出应有的作用,这不仅是广大师生的期待,也是高校图书馆人的责任所在。但要突出特色,必须以丰富的馆藏文献为基础,大力挖掘本地的文献资料,打造具有区域特色的信息资源库,发挥自己的优势。地方高校图书馆要勇于推陈创新,拓宽领域,改变旧体制,为本校的教学科研服务和地方经济建设服务,走一条具有地方特色的改革之路。

It is not only the expectation of spacious teachers and students, but also the responsibility of library in high school to stress its local characteristics, establish its own brand and also bring its effects into play in the process of college education. What we must do to stress characteristics is to spare no efforts to bring out local document information; build an information resource database with regional characteristics; and bring its advantages into play in the basis of abundant collection of documents. The local college library should bring forth the new from the old, widen its domain, change its old system to serve the teaching and research in their school and the local economic construction. It should also walk a reformation road with local characteristics.
