A General Review on the Twelve Imams of Shi’a in History

本文对有关什叶派十二位伊玛目的史料进行了梳理,通过引用西方学者和伊斯兰学者(尤其是伊朗学者)对十二位伊玛目的评价,来进一步认识和了解十二位伊玛目以及什叶派的历史。

This article has made a general review on the historical materials related to the lives of the twelve Imams of Shi＇a in Islam in order to point out that the struggle for legitimacy in both political and religious fields is the key of the conflicts among the different political and religious interest groups from the beginning of Islam till nowadays. By providing the comments made by the western and Shi＇a scholars on the twelve Imams, the author wants to give a reference to the readers who are interested in the history of the Shi＇a.
