Almost all HIS systems in military hospitals operate on windows platform.We chose UNIX operation system as the basic platform for HIS in Southwest Hospital after adequate comparison and detailed proof in the condition that the old system couldn＇t burden the exploding data.It is proved that HIS in UNIX can serve many eruptive users and achieve perfect performance parameters by the accurate calculation and careful disposition in practical running after updating.
