摘要
数月前，当我听说国家大剧院开幕首演的歌剧将邀请俄罗斯圣彼得堡马林斯基剧院上演鲍罗丁的《伊戈尔王》，当即下定决心去观看。因为我从事俄语翻译工作近60年，与苏俄音乐和俄罗斯人民有难以割舍的情谊，更由于几年前，我应吴祖强同志之邀，在他主编的、由台湾世界文物出版社出版的《百部歌剧经典》一书中翻译了《伊戈尔大公》的脚本。
A few months ago,when I heard that St Petersburg＇s Mariinsky Theatre was invited to perform Borodin＇s Prince Igor for the opening of hte National Centre for the Performing Arts （formerly known as the National Grand Theatre）,I was determined to see the production.On December 25,when the curtain of the National Grand Theatre.slowly rose,we were brought into Borodins＇s ancient Russia,as familiar music was played under Valery Gergiev.
