Early recognition and management strategies for adrenal diseases

随着健康体检的普及、激素及其代谢产物测定的进步、影像学技术的发展,肾上腺疾病的诊断水平不断提高,肾上腺意外瘤的检出率也明显上升。本文结合我国临床工作现状,概述近年来关于肾上腺意外瘤、Cushing综合征、嗜铬细胞瘤和原发性醛固酮增多症等常见肾上腺疾病的临床进展、发展趋势和未来的发展方向。

Much progress has been made in our clinical understanding of adrenal diseases during the past decade owing to advances of biochemical assessment on hormonal secretion and adrenal imaging techniques. The frequency of the incidentally discovered adrenal masses has increased in the same period due to widespread application of health check-up. This article highlights the optimal approaches and therapeutic strategies for common adrenal diseases, focusing on adrenal incidentaloma, Cushing＇ s syndrome, pheochromocytoma, and primary aldosteronism.
