摘要
在工程实践中,人们希望能远程灵活地配置FPGA,提出一种借助于网络实现远程配置FPGA的方法。当需要对FPGA进行重新配置时,使用传输层的TFTP协议,将配置文件由主控端通过Internet传输到与FPGA相连的嵌入式系统并保存起来,再由嵌入式系统产生被动串行配置FPGA所需的相应时序,完成对FPGA的配置工作。这样不仅节约了成本,缩小了系统体积,增加了系统灵活性,而且能根据需求的变化对FPGA进行远程配置。
This paper provides a thorough discussion of how to remotely configure an FPGA over Internet with low complexity and high flexibility. In this system, TFTP protocol on transport layer will be staffed by the controller to transfer files to a remote embedded system. And a slave-serial mode configuration signal will be generated by the embedded system to configure the FPGA. This will not only save costs, reduce the system size, but also reconfigure FPGA according to design changes.
