Experiment teaching is one of most important measures in higher vocational education. Multimedia courseware and demonstrating experiments can be used to assist food technology teaching. The paper proposes the features of food technology laboratory design and teaching methods. The experiment teaching should combine with other courses, reflect updated food technology, and train students＇ ability of handwork in order to achieve the goal of sustainable development.
