追寻传统母亲的记忆:伍尔夫和莱辛比较研究

Seeking for Mother's Memory:A Comparison between Woolf and Lessing

许多评论家从多种角度谈到了伍尔夫和莱辛这两位20世纪最伟大的女作家之间的相似,但很少从女性文学传统的角度谈论此话题。本文认为正是她们对缺失的女性文学传统母亲的追寻导致了她们的相似。她们在追忆传统和重构女性传统中的不同态度也导致了她们艺术形式的迥异和人生命运的完全不同。

Many critics have discussed the similarities between Virginia Woolf and Doris Lessing,the two greatest women writers of the twentieth century in many aspects,but rarely from the perspective of the literary tradition of women writers.This paper argues that it is their seeking for the lost mother,the literary women's tradition,that leads to their similarities.Their different attitudes in their seeking and reconstructing the literary women's tradition contribute to their differences in literary forms and fortunes.
