2007年12月20日，济南市公安局发布消息，自2007年12月21日起，凡常住户口所在地在济南市行政区域内的居民，全部取消农业户口、非农业户口性质划分，均统一登记为“居民户口”这就是引起举国关注的济南户籍改革“新政”。
