奥地利孩子在0—3岁之间，上民间组织举办的活动较多。通常是某镇的一位母亲举办各种各样的“娱乐班”，以提供孩子们一起玩的机会，同时也是母亲们沟通的场所。这些”娱乐班”费用非常低，但是只提供给3岁以下的孩子，并且重点在于玩耍。
Children below the age of three in Austria frequently take part in folk activities. Usually, a mother in some town hosts various ＂entertainment classes＂ to provide opportunities for the children to play together. At the same time, these activities also provide good places for the mothers to communicate with each other.
