Nostalgia for Old Houses

2005年，青岛房产置业集团承诺利用3年时间，自筹资金4000万元，对市区70处125栋总建筑面积14万平方米的国有直管优秀历史建筑、名人故居和具有较高历史文化价值的建筑进行保护性修缮，使其重新焕发历史风采。如今，3年过去了，随着广西路37号（侯爵饭店旧址）、中山路1号（德国青岛俱乐部旧址）、沂水路11号（德国总督府旧址）等老房子修缮工作的完成，这一承诺也已经变成了现实。

In 2005, Qingdao Real Estate Industrial Group made a promise that in three years it would self-finance 40 million yuan to make protective renovation of the stateowned old houses with high historic and cultural value in Qingdao.
