Reform and Practice on the Courses of British Literature and American Literature in Universities

英美文学课程在高校英语语言文学专业课程体系中占有重要的地位。长期的教学实践证明,传统的英美文学教学方法应加以改革。要树立以学生为中心的教学思想,逐步形成一种全新的立体化的教学模式;加强英美文学课程的网络环境建设,实现现代信息技术与课程的有效整合;建立新的考核评价体系,实行"多元评价"的考核方式;规范毕业论文写作,提高论文质量。

British Literature and American Literature are very important courses in the universities. The teaching practice proved that the traditional methods used in them should be reformed. Firstly, the student-centered thought should be established and a new Three-dimensional Teaching Mode Should be formed; Secondly, the network environment construction of the courses should be strengthened and the integration of modern information technology and the Courses in foreign literature should be realized. Thirdly, a new multipul evaluation on examanition should be adopted. Fouthly, the graduate thesis should be more standarded and perfect.
