症状监测是对临床确诊前的相关数据和疾病可能爆发的信号进行监测，我国目前体现症状监测理念的症状监测系统有不明原因肺炎监测、发热门诊、发热出疹性疾病监测和肠道门诊等。此文就症状监测实际应用进行综述。

Syndromic surveillance is an investigational approach where health department staff, assisted by auto-mated data acquisition and generation of statistical alerts, monitor disease indicators in real-time or near real-time to detect outbreaks of disease earlier than would otherwise be possible with traditional public health methods. There are several syn-dromic surveillance systems in China. The article reviews these syndromic surveillance systems.
